About Sarah
Sarah Gairdner's journey in eventing began as an active member of the Cambridgeshire Pony Club, where she acheived her Pony Club A Test before progressing through the British Eventing Young Rider pathway and on to compete at four-star level.
This long competition career has given Sarah extensive experience producing horses through the levels. Several of the horses she has ridden at the highest level have been homebred, reflecting her commitment to developing horses with time, correct training and a clear understanding of what they need to succeed.
Sarah grew up with a strong family background in hunting, which helped develop the instinctive feel and confidence across country that eventing demands. Alongside her experience across all three phases, this foundation continues to shape the balanced and practical approach she brings to training and competition today.
Attention to detail, sympathetic training and careful horse management underpin everything Sarah does at Danesmoor. Her aim is aways to produce happy, confident horses who enjoy their work and go on to have long and successful careers.
