Sire: Chilli Morning
Dam: Kings Gem (Rock King)
Bred by the Stones and produced by Gemma Tattersall, Roo joined us at the end of 2020. The 2021 season was a fact finding year - there are no shortcuts when getting to know a new horse! It is no secret that we had a lot of learning through experimentation in order to produce a dressage test with Roo - it was certainly a first not to complete a dressage test! We successfully completed the 2021 season with 2 advanced runs (including a 7th at Allerton Park) and a 4* short at Little Downham.
So far in 2022, she has completed Thoresby 4* short with a qualifying result, and was placed 14th in both the 3* long at Ballindenisk and 4* short at Bramham. Roo's 2022 year has more than fulfilled our hopes and expectations, culminating in a 3rd in the CCI-L4* at Ballindenisk. Other 2022 results include:
Blair CCI-L4* 10th
Aston -le-Walls OI 5th
Bramham CCI-S4* 14th
Ballindenisk CCI-L3* 14th
We are looking forward to the 2023 season already!

Owner Helen Rothery
16.2hh 2013 Sire: Kings Master Dam: The Roars of Her Iona joined us as a 6 year old having hunted in Ireland. She has taken to eventing well proving to be consistent in all 3 phases. She had a very successful 2021 campaign but, sadly, at the beginning of 2022 she had a freak accident removing a lot of skin from her hind leg. Disappointingly, this means she has missed the 2022 Eventing season, but we have high hopes for the 2023 season. She has healed well and is back in work, and will be competing in some affiliated dressage over the winter season. |
Owned by Sarah Gairdner
16.2hh 2015 Sire: Chilli Morning Dam: Three Steps Alice joined the team at the end of July 2022, having good run round the 1* at Blair; plus two top 10 placings in the 100cm at Little Downham and Swalcliffe with double clears. We are very much looking forward to cementing the partnership over the Winter months and seeing how she progresses in the 2023 season. |

This year he has succesfully stepped up to novice and has already gained an 8th placing in the 2*s at Ballindenisk. He is very uphill, eye catching and most certainly one to watch this season. Whoopsie is out of Chinnor Hilary, who's grandmother went around Badminton. He was an accident because no one realised his polo pony father hadn’t been gelded!! He hasn’t stopped growing and is big and gangly hence he’s been lightly backed and turned away for the winter.
