We do not currently have any vacant positions at the yard, however we do offer Work Placements as well as running an Apprenticeship Service.
Please do get in touch if you would like to discuss either of these further.
Sample Package and information for prospective Work Placement or Apprentice Service applicants:
Danesmoor Eventing is a relatively small yard that boasts a great deal of experience in its ranks including a BE accredited coach. We pride ourselves on our eventing stables being filled with quality horses who are moving nicely up the grades. Facilities wise, we are very lucky to have internal stables that are situated on a lovely estate with an indoor school, various gallops, plenty of beautiful off-road hacking and a horse walker. There is accommodation available - dependent on the time of year - in a shared, on-site house with all household bills (bar food) included as part of the package. There is the possibility to bring your own horse on livery but sadly no other pets can be accommodated. Anyone wishing to join us will be expected to complete the usual yard duties as well as the care and preparation of competition horses - ridden exercising of horses will be dependent on the individual. Coming to us for a placement is an excellent opportunity for someone who is wishing to learn and potentially compete on their own horse. Duration of placements is flexible and can be tailored to individual or college requirements - this would would suit equine, veterinary or therapy students especially.
